  • 1905  founding of the company Hammer & Voršak – start of production in the department of hand-laminated cardboard and the printing department
  • 1907  purchase of the company by the Budapest manufacturer Ferdinand Bayer, "Bayer a spol., Skalicka boxes factory" is established
  • 1914  the name of the Tekla company appears for the first time – Skalice boxes factory
  • 1923  established production of packaging for chocolate boxes, soap boxes and hand-glued cardboard packaging
  • 1940  the beginning of mechanical gluing of packaging  on the Jagenberg gluing machine
  • 1941  installation of the first Planeta offset machine
  • 1946  incorporation of the Tekla plant into the national enterprise Považské celulózky a papierne in Ružomberok
  • 1950  the Tekla plant becomes part of the national enterprise Harmanecké papierne in Harmanec
  • 1953  establishment of an independent enterprise Kartoprodukta Skalica, a national enterprise
  • 1958  Kartoprodukta is transferred to the national enterprise Brněnské papírny
  • 1965  installation of the first four-color offset machine
  • 1969  creation of the national enterprise Grafobal Skalica as an independent entity

  • 1976  construction of a new production hall with technology that enabled a fourfold increase in the capacity of folding cardboard packaging 
  • 1982  start of operation of the computer center
  • 1989  establishment of the state-owned enterprise Grafobal Skalica
  • 1990  the beginning of the production of refined packaging materials for milk and juices of the Tetra brik type
  •  1992  privatization of the company and establishment of the joint-stock company GRAFOBAL
  •  1992  introduction of the production of shaped die-cut labels
  •  1994  opening of production plant 02 in Skalica for the production of laminated corrugated cardboard type E and B and packaging from it
  •  1995  entrepreneur Ivan Kmotrík's capital entry into the GRAFOBAL company, he becomes the chairman of the supervisory board
  •  1995  first foreign acquisition, Grafobal joins VILPAKAS in Lithuania, Grafobal, j.s.c. Vilnius
  •  1996  opening of the Grafobal production plant,  in Slany
  •  1997  certification of the quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9002 standard

  •  2007  ackvizicion of the Czech company for the production of packaging and polygraphic production under the name GRAFOBAL ARTYPA, Ltd.
  •  2010  installation of the first seven-color offset machine with inline UV varnishing
  •  2011  merger of two Czech production plants of Grafobal in Slany and Holubov into the company GRAFOBAL BOHEMIA Ltd.
  •  2013  launch of a new corrugating and laminating line with the possibility of producing G-type corrugated cardboard
  •  2015  installation of the first 9 color offset machine with inline UV varnishing
  •  2020  installation of equipment for new  cold foil stamping technology
  •  2023  awarding of the WorldStar Award for Packaging for "Christmas Tea Gift Packaging Set"
